I am a fourth year student at University of California, Berkeley studying mechanical engineering and pursuing a minor in aerospace engineering, with an additional focus in automotive engineering.

I remember when I used to come home from elementary school, I would spend each and
every evening building Lego models. Looking back, my only real limitation was the number of pieces and what pieces I had. Being able to express my creativity with building things from a young age has played a role in allowing me the skillsets I possess today.

I grew up getting my hands dirty, working on engines, using machinery, and building things with my Dad, pictured below. I also would do ceramics, stained glass, mosaics, and painting with my Mom, developing my artistic skills. This combination of arts and engineering is what eventually led me to my passion for automotive engineering.

Then, I spent four years in a hyper-focused engineering/manufacturing high school mastering these practical skills while obtaining unparalleled real-world experience (through FIRST Robotics Competition, MATE, and other design/manufacturing-intensive projects such as Maxwell, Omni-Directional Robot, Ping Pong Ball Air Cannon, etc).

Now, I'm studying mechanical engineering with a minor in aerospace engineering at UC Berkeley to understand the theory and methodology behind what I love.

At the end of the day though, I'm simply a guy with a love for all things with wheels. I aspire to one day apply and share my passion at the highest level in motorsport.
